Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Backman having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Koffe Boys's Kalle Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kalle Backman firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Koffe Boys booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koffe Boys made a substitution. Basilio De Pablo replaced Jens-Ove Blomberg. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Koffe Boys had won after a very even match.
