Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Urmas Vuorinen made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Carlisle United's zone, Urmas Vuorinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Kenworthy came out of the goal and Urmas Vuorinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Kenworthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urmas Vuorinen in the 5th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Palloketut's Urmas Vuorinen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Kenworthy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Micheal Firth got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Urmas Vuorinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urmas Vuorinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Carlisle United's goal looked a bit too open when Urmas Vuorinen came free, but William Kenworthy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hugh Tyson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Carlisle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugh Tyson couldn't finish the play. Palloketut's Jyrki Rajamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Bastow in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Urmas Vuorinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Urmas Vuorinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Palloketut's Urmas Vuorinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Kenworthy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Palloketut were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Palloketut booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Mills didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlisle United's William Kenworthy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmas Vuorinen in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Martyn Heslop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carlisle United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palloketut the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Heslop to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlisle United's goalkeeper William Kenworthy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Micheal Firth made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugh Tyson immediately put the ball in play. After 61 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Ahola. Jyrki Rajamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Bastow, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Urmas Vuorinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. William Kenworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Aku Kaukomaa. Urmas Vuorinen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised William Kenworthy 79 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Urmas Vuorinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Kenworthy was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the match was over Palloketut could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carlisle United throughout the match.
