In the 2nd minute, Amado Matro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Geovani Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelios Panagiotopoulos was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. UD Fuerteventura were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Trapiche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geovani Barral took the corner. Result 1-0. Amado Matro made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by UD Fuerteventura's Constancio Llinares. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trapiche's goalkeeper Stelios Panagiotopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute Geovani Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Panagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Augusto Hanot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trapiche and the UD Fuerteventura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Geovani Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelios Panagiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Geovani Barral came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the UD Fuerteventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Barral couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Geovani Barral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Geovani Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stelios Panagiotopoulos having to make a save. Geovani Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, UD Fuerteventura's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Abancens came free, but Lajos Révész reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Fuerteventura's Allard Ijsselhof quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amado Matro, made in the 31st minute of the game. Geovani Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Barral came free, but Stelios Panagiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Geovani Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelios Panagiotopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stelios Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Barral in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Geovani Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelios Panagiotopoulos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claris Quiroga made a kick off. The UD Fuerteventura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Geovani Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 55th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Stelios Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelios Panagiotopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Geovani Barral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trapiche's Stelios Panagiotopoulos did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Gleba in the 67th minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Lajos Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trapiche's Stelios Panagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 70th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Abancens. UD Fuerteventura's Constancio Llinares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amado Matro, made in the 76th minute of the game. After 77 minutes of play, UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelios Panagiotopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stelios Panagiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 80th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trapiche players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UD Fuerteventura.
