The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Fevre made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Andrés Villaseñor lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Aarne Pasoja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmas Vuorinen in the 54th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palloketut's Teemu Valkealahti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bonifacio Lavanderos in the 62 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmas Vuorinen in the 63rd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
