In the 12th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Elmhuus having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 17th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gong Qi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Constantijn De Hond made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gong Qi Fan however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Playa Malvín's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gong Qi Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gong Qi Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 39th minute of the match. Gong Qi Fan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fernando Selatse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa Malvín.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Raymond to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gamus Rocha in the 62 minute of the game. Vladimiro Marquez made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Quinto Ampudia however managed to control. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 77th minute of play. Michael Corleone hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Percha in the 94th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playa Malvín were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Despidida AFC for a fine match.
