Neron Veterini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Özbilen having to interfere. Koray Baran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Leonard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Vilhelm Gustafsson made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's Edmundson Colling. Koray Baran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jake Leonard made a huge save. Tolga Özbilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Gipuzkoa in the 38th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Neron Veterini put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tolga Özbilen. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON made a substitution. Musa Aydoğan replaced Koray Baran. In the 54th minute, Edmundson Colling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Musa Aydoğan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Leonard was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
