The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Xu Ran Zhen with Tomás Laurendi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fernando Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Montrel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Montrel in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 35th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez got control of the ball when Alvaro Raymond tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Lia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Robert Percha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Percha in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Pavao Zadro replaced Cristobal Lia. In the 80th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Ran Zhen to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Robert Percha. But to his dismay, Robert Percha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Xu Ran Zhen hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Robert Percha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
