The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ryszard Barycz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Leonard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryszard Barycz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Flavius Postelnicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Durval Nascimento hit a great ball. Nilson Peres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leonel Cordaro. After 17 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Neron Veterini. 21 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Barycz came free, but Jake Leonard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Neron Veterini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neron Veterini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nilson Peres firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Veterini in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ryszard Barycz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Robert Arboleda in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WINNING ELEVEN's Nemesio Tximitx. Nilson Peres came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini. But to his dismay, Neron Veterini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. João Vítor Porto replaced Niklas Bergdal. When WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ITAFUT 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. The WINNING ELEVEN fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Evelio Rico. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Şentürk Orgun replaced Leonel Cordaro. Jardel Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes in the game Robert Arboleda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavius Postelnicescu. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Arboleda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tximitx came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Robert Arboleda hit a great ball. The WINNING ELEVEN support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
