The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Lech Biskupiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Lech Biskupiak sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Kubilay İmge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cain Velasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Amadeo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Riesgo Cero's zone, Dinu Ivănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Vladimirescu came out of the goal and Dinu Ivănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Ivănescu came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Amadeo Firman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Ivănescu to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kubilay İmge in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Emiliano Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Robert Percha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Firman made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo. Robert Percha scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubilay İmge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Robert Percha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Haldun Mahir's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haldun Mahir helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Haldun Mahir hit a great ball. If Robert Percha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despidida AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
