The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvise Catapano managed to trick Lobos de Carelia's defense and made a shot which however Nestor Cortez didn't slip through. A nice save in the 16thth minute. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gong Qi Fan couldn't finish the play. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Montrel in the 57th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. Stelian Murgu made a great header on Playa Malvín's corner, it was just that Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez managed to reach the ball for a save.
