Remicio Cismado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Gombal in the 4th minute of the match. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Epifanio Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iruinea Echeguren in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge López kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Bastia. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gabriel Alcántara hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romildo Sotomayor got free with Epifanio Bastia in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Aerolineas Argentinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Guillelmus during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guido Guillelmus kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Epifanio Bastia was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Iruinea Echeguren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iruinea Echeguren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gagriel Aramoyana hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Guido Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xuban Benedid in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Xuban Benedid got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Epifanio Bastia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Glorioso Deportivo Cali's zone, Rodrigo Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remicio Cismado came out of the goal and Rodrigo Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iruinea Echeguren to make the kick off. Remicio Cismado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Dominguez in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Jorge López notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Epifanio Bastia. Epifanio Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Epifanio Bastia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 minutes of play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Jorge López made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remicio Cismado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Lübeck in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute, Pes Carrasquedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
