In the 22nd minute, Kristofer Kilstrøm made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Lara. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Giuseppe Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofer Kilstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo Rocha got free with Đorđije Élisabeth in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Jean Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Jean Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Lara made a huge save. Ejvin Stavnbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Gernando Mineiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Kristofer Kilstrøm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seed Town West fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Giuseppe Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Jean Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Seed Town West's goal looked a bit too open when César Alagoano came free, but Đorđije Élisabeth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Lara should have stopped the shot. Giuseppe Lara came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Seed Town West's André Skovsted. But to his dismay, André Skovsted quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. With a little luck, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Giuseppe Lara got control of the ball when Bob Stolk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Nova Iguaçu MZFC defense, Bob Stolk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Lara. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Lara should have stopped the shot.
