After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Breno Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red John S.K's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Flesfadar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Hudson dos Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar. Ollie Flesfadar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hudson dos Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ollie Flesfadar came out and tried to block the shot, but Hudson dos Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Hudson dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Flesfadar having to interfere. Ollie Flesfadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Lima in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bart Burton hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luís Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ollie Flesfadar was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 3-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Hudson dos Santos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio de Lima in the 46th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ollie Flesfadar made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Luís Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson dos Santos in the 52nd minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Flesfadar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Lima's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes in the game, Pedro Luís Lima dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Australian Youth Academy defense, Dorival Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ollie Flesfadar. The Australian Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ollie Flesfadar should have stopped the shot. Red John S.K's Inácio de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Hudson dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ollie Flesfadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ryan Millard hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Pedro Luís Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Flesfadar having to interfere. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ollie Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neville Schutt during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Red John S.K. Pedro Luís Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ollie Flesfadar. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Lima in the 84th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Flesfadar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Almeida went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Everett Kiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Léo Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red John S.K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Léo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Flesfadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Braedan Duncan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Braedan Duncan hit a great ball. Red John S.K's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
