The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Gonzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Maura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Gonzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Maura made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Fernando Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gonzo in the 6th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Mauricio Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Palos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Brais in the 7th minute of play. Fernando Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauricio Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Oflador FC 2003 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Farias to maneuver through the defense. ZORZAL01's Benjamin Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Oflador FC 2003 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gualterio Farias hit a great ball. Ambrosio Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Palos having to interfere. ZORZAL01's Mauricio Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Sabino in the 34th minute of play. ZORZAL01's Mauricio Maura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Fernando Gonzo could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Mauricio Maura however easily saved by the left post. Benjamin Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Palos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oflador FC 2003's Eustaquio Sabino got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Fernando Gonzo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Firmo got free with Paolo Palos in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Ciceron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Palos was a little too slow when Benjamin Firmo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-1. Sixto Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Oflador FC 2003 booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Oflador FC 2003 were awarded a corner. Fernando Gonzo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Oflador FC 2003's Fernando Gonzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Maura despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oflador FC 2003's Paolo Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Brais in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oflador FC 2003's Sixto Rencio got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Oflador FC 2003 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play.
