After some careless play in the Aerolineas Argentinas FC defense, Dalmo Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Bastia. The Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Bastia should have stopped the shot. Dalmo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Epifanio Bastia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Iguaçu MZFC played a much better game than Aerolineas Argentinas FC and deserved their victory. The Aerolineas Argentinas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
