Giuseppe Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Sigtenborg in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Harold Sigtenborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Đorđije Élisabeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmo Rocha in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đorđije Élisabeth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Guilherme Mandrak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Đorđije Élisabeth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Iguaçu MZFC reached it. Đorđije Élisabeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Giuseppe Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Telmo Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Anselmo Batista got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harold Sigtenborg got free with Giuseppe Lara in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The goalkeeper, Đorđije Élisabeth, was totally fooled by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Guilherme Mandrak, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Giuseppe Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Vaarmark in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Seed Town West's Đorđije Élisabeth got control of the ball when Telmo Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Đorđije Élisabeth stood somewhat misplaced when Telmo Barbosa came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 86 minute.
