In the 12th minute Nicanor Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Cochrane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Jamie Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Jemmett Baba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Australian Youth Academy and the Oflador FC 2003 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dani Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Macerio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Macerio to make the kick off. Angel Raymon kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Australian Youth Academy's Dugald Berresford was substituted for Ben Minton. Angel Raymon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Nicanor Macerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dani Cochrane. Nicanor Macerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Raymon during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oflador FC 2003's Angel Raymon got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dani Cochrane made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nicanor Macerio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olliver Todman in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Gonzo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Herman Heberle got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Fernando Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oflador FC 2003 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
