Project Nemesis's Bayram Mutluay managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 14 minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Project Nemesis's Luciano Acosta in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Peru booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paavali Seracino Inglott didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Padro Trúpkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Acosta in the 52nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Project Nemesis were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Sniegowski went to the cornerflag to take it. 60 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luciano Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Paavali Seracino Inglott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Luciano Acosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Project Nemesis and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Project Nemesis made a substitution. Rafal Walczak replaced Padro Trúpkov. Luciano Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Transito Betonowy came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Project Nemesis's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Project Nemesis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Parker. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Peter Parker in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Project Nemesis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peter Parker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Gayoso in the 81st minute of play. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Project Nemesis's Transito Betonowy. But to his dismay, Transito Betonowy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Peter Parker made a huge save. Project Nemesis's Transito Betonowy got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Project Nemesis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
