Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joey Costa made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Belon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Belon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Belon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Belon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Daniel Belon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofil Jarosiewicz lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cosa nostra Lyon! When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosa nostra Lyon's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Daniel Belon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cosa nostra Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Daniel Belon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Belon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Daniel Belon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. Cosa nostra Lyon's Daniel Belon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cosa nostra Lyon from getting a goal against them. Daniel Belon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Belon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Belon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Daniel Belon to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Belon came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. After 81 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Belon was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Cosa nostra Lyon's Daniel Belon got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Daniel Belon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Belon having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Daniel Belon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Belon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. In the 95th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17. Ecuador played a much better game than Cosa nostra Lyon and deserved their victory. The Cosa nostra Lyon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
