But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Lindmark in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. SWARS's Vidar Browald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SWARS from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Vidar Browald in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When SWARS's Alfons Emander in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Vidar Browald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vidar Browald. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Stamen Zimbilev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador played a much better game than SWARS and deserved their victory. The SWARS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
