In the 34th minute Pueblo FC were awarded a corner. Tyrell Houser went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russell Hare, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime McClendon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vern Wright to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime McClendon, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Jaime McClendon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Winkler having to interfere. In the 68th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime McClendon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Luca Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boyd Winkler. The goal made the score 2-1. After 79 minutes Pueblo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boyd Winkler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Boyd Winkler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute. Ari Willingham kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyd Winkler. Boyd Winkler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 91 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boyd Winkler. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. A collision led to Pueblo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mohammed Flanagan hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pueblo FC.
