Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Kent got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartlomiej Podwojski's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jonathan Ferrant - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 7th minute. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Barry Kent tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Ünalmış saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Ünalmış. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Volkan Ünalmış took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Ünalmış was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volkan Ünalmış read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barry Kent in the 31st minute. When Barry Kent got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 37th minute, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Barry Kent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Tanek Podwojski scored 4-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tanek Podwojski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Barry Kent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Kent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Barry Kent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Kent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Wiatrak in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Dobromir Porajewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WKS Śląsk Wrocław and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes WKS Śląsk Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Porajewski. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wladyslaw Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's goalkeeper Volkan Ünalmış had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Volkan Ünalmış didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After having played for 67 minutes, Barry Kent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WKS Śląsk Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Kent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Kent in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Barry Kent in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Szczepan Wiatrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Szczepan Wiatrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Volkan Ünalmış didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Ünalmış breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Volkan Ünalmış tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Volkan Ünalmış proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save WKS Śląsk Wrocław from getting a goal against them. In the 92ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Volkan Ünalmış was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Wiatrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Podwojski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The WKS Śląsk Wrocław fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
