After 3 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horia Lupu who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of the match. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Paulo Barreto. Pedro Paulo Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Barreto. Airborne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 46th minute of the match. Jorge Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Pedro Paulo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After 65 minutes Airborne FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Casimiro Jatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 84th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 95th minute. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
