Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when 周迅然 sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Dário Malafaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Anıl Arda Ünlüer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Valverde United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Joaquim Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Valverde United's goalkeeper Joaquim Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teófilo Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Valverde United got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anıl Arda Ünlüer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th minute Valverde United were awarded a corner. Anıl Arda Ünlüer went to the cornerflag to take it. With an all-out effort, Valverde United's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teófilo Mota, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Joaquim Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Valverde United's Ionică Lițiu got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Anıl Arda Ünlüer made the kick off in the second half. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teófilo Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Mota in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Arda Ünlüer, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Teófilo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 周迅然 in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Valverde United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Lițiu to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Barbosa was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, Valverde United's Joaquim Barbosa got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Valverde United's Joaquim Barbosa managed to reach the ball for a save. Felix Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Joaquim Barbosa 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teófilo Mota in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Arda Ünlüer in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Valverde United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Malafaia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Muzaffer Öğeturk kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Arda Ünlüer, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Valverde United were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anıl Arda Ünlüer took the corner. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
