In the 3rd minute, Christian Burgo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Christian Burgo scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Kwyjibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxepare Angostina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sylwester Wawro skillfully saved the ball. Sylwester Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kwyjibo were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guilherme de Souza took the corner. After some careless play in the Kwyjibo defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Wawro. The Kwyjibo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Wawro should have stopped the shot. When Facundo Cadaval fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Facundo Cadaval a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kwyjibo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme de Souza succeeded in the game's 31st minute to get real power on a long shot . Mexico's Dante Lacasa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Burgo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idacio Ballejos in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Idacio Ballejos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Idacio Ballejos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Christian Burgo put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Burgo in the 59th minute of the match. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kwyjibo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Mexico booed when Kwyjibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo. But to his dismay, Christian Burgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 79th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kwyjibo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kyrylo Latenko hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Wawro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Kwyjibo's attentive Sven McNamara managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. 85 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kwyjibo's Fabricio Perli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 90th minute. Guilherme de Souza struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kwyjibo. The audience was convinced that Christian Burgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
