Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Burgo started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Christian Burgo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Burgo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Burgo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Burgo got free with Julio Vera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sylwester Wawro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Kwyjibo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guilherme de Souza in the 26th minute. Christian Burgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Mathias Jakobsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Christian Burgo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Christian Burgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Burgo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, Christian Burgo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Burgo in the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Wawro having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Burgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Guilherme de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Guilherme de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Burgo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Burgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Sylwester Wawro made a huge save. If Christian Burgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Burgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Burgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Burgo in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Christian Burgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Burgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The Kwyjibo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
