Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Victor Chan took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Ching during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Victor Ching hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Hidayat Peng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Teo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hidayat Peng got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Chan in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Hidayat Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Hidayat Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidayat Peng in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Peng in the 63rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Victor Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Afiz Teo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Chan scored 3-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
