Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Berksan having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Söderkvist to make the kick off. With a little luck, UGUR SK's Göksel Berksan got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Söderkvist in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Silviano Leguade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UGUR SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick.
