Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zlatko Ibrahimović started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Fragleses got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mentus. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zlatko Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kim Hänninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Zlatko Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Fragleses's Zlatko Ibrahimović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kim Hänninen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kim Hänninen came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kim Hänninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fragleses's Zlatko Ibrahimović. But to his dismay, Zlatko Ibrahimović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hänninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Zlatko Ibrahimović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Zlatko Ibrahimović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gisbert made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Fragleses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Roch Dejo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Fragleses's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Zlatko Ibrahimović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fragleses made a substitution. Waldemar Wojtowicz replaced Olaf Wojtowicz. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Hänninen having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Fragleses's Grzegorz Rasiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kim Hänninen came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fragleses's Edward Mentus got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fragleses throughout the match.
