Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Average Joes's Victoriano Abel. Victoriano Abel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Abel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Victoriano Abel came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 13 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Victoriano Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Average Joes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Abel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Saba in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match, Per Rolandsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arthur Saba sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Yavuz Bülent Özger's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Bülent Özger helped the player get up and apologised. Victoriano Abel came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Victoriano Abel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Yavuz Bülent Özger got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Filip Flink. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Saba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Arthur Saba got a free kick in the 56th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Saba in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Average Joes's Arthur Saba in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ganix Herrera during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ganix Herrera to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Matthias Liljeström got a free kick in the 66th minute. Average Joes's Mattias Finnman was substituted for Jo Blanchaert. Matthias Liljeström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Filip Flink hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Average Joes defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Abel. The Average Joes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Abel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Filip Flink got a free kick in the 79th minute. Average Joes made a substitution. Jeremias Silban replaced Per Rolandsson. Filip Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Saba in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Victoriano Abel made a huge save. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
