Erenay Yaltırak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Asım Arif Revnak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erenay Yaltırak having to interfere. Erenay Yaltırak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Asım Arif Revnak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Boğazova were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maxime Maeijnaerts took the corner. Maxime Maeijnaerts made a great header on Boğazova's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Erenay Yaltırak came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Boğazova's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Erenay Yaltırak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute of the match Maxime Maeijnaerts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play forced Boğazova's goalkeeper Erenay Yaltırak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Boğazova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Tafalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erenay Yaltırak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Asım Arif Revnak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Erenay Yaltırak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asım Arif Revnak was the one to do the kick off. Erenay Yaltırak made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erenay Yaltırak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience cheered when Luca Zorita's long shot passed Erenay Yaltırak's right side. It was 0-3, 63 minutes into the match. Aesem Al Azmi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play forced Boğazova's goalkeeper Erenay Yaltırak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kadri Özerol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of Mexico booed when Boğazova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demirhan İdris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Maxime Maeijnaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
