Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scrotum Kickers FC the free kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Donecea came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Per-Oskar Söderström made a huge save. In the 53rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. When Scrotum Kickers FC's Gonzalo Maradona in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Scrotum Kickers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teun van Alst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Oskar Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Donecea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Scrotum Kickers FC had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
