The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Rúklyov was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Moises Gayoso made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denimir Tzonkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Rúklyov saved VN BAKITO from getting behind. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruslan Rúklyov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denimir Tzonkov was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Denimir Tzonkov made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. VN BAKITO's Rusi Plochev was substituted for Isaac Constancio. In the 61st minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute, Denimir Tzonkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 75th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerasim Berberov hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Ruslan Rúklyov. VN BAKITO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Plochev in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Rusi Plochev came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rusi Plochev struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN BAKITO. Antonio Tenorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Ruslan Rúklyov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruslan Rúklyov. That made the score 2-3 after 93 minutes of play. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
