The referee ignored Islas Malvinas Argentinas's protests and gave Jonathan Cordara a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Islas Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Cordara. In the 11th minute Sebastian Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Victoriano Odol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas Malvinas Argentinas and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Odol got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Curacao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Iker Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 37th minute of the match. Stanley Wallace struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Iker Tabby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacao. In the 47th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertie Johnson to maneuver through the defense. The Islas Malvinas Argentinas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curacao were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Cordera in the 52nd minute of play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Menendo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Islas Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Cordera to maneuver through the defense. When Kyle Davies came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Davies couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Zeledon Iyan got a free kick in the 66th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Zeledon Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Islas Malvinas Argentinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. After 78 played minutes Islas Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Iyan. Kyle Davies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Islas Malvinas Argentinas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alejo Poz hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Stanley Wallace lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Iker Tabby. In the 87th minute, Robustiano Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Curacao left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Islas Malvinas Argentinas.
