Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 5th minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Askild Bødtkjer came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, John Ryder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRONCOS and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when BRONCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Ryder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Veloso having to interfere. BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cauã Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Güral Revan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güral Revan scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when BRONCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Ryder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauã Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauã Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güral Revan in the 42nd minute of play. BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of play. Sigismund Grgic hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Askild Bødtkjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güral Revan in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauã Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, BRONCOS's Cauã Veloso got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauã Veloso. That made the score 3-1 after 56 minutes of play. Cauã Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, BRONCOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigismund Grgic to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Cauã Veloso to make any attempt to save it. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Askild Bødtkjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRONCOS's goalkeeper Cauã Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cauã Veloso was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. Cauã Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güral Revan in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Güral Revan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRONCOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cauã Veloso having to make a save. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cauã Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Ronald Bryner kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Dumont in the 95th minute of play.
