Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tamboril! Frank Netto had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frank Netto came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamboril's Frank Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced Tamboril's goalkeeper Frank Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Tamboril's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frank Netto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamboril's Frank Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Cearense to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Loïc Duprey came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Teles to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboril's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Netto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamboril made a substitution. Enrique Berger replaced Clemente Antunes. Christiano Freitas's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Christiano Freitas hit a great ball. Frank Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tamboril's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Christiano Freitas was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tamboril's Frank Netto. 1-4. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tamboril's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frank Netto quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank Netto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Frank Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Frank Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Berger in the 91st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Frank Netto to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tamboril.
