In the 25thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Arósio having to interfere. When Anselmo Maraschin fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s protests and gave Anselmo Maraschin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Anselmo Maraschin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
