Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 4th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bulek Idris in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Bulek Idris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penang Island fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Penang Island's Bulek Idris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ade Prima capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ade Prima really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 22nd minute Bulek Idris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Penang Island's Djati Simamora made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Bulek Idris came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Penang Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulek Idris couldn't finish the play. Ade Prima charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ade Prima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ade Prima kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joko Febrian. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
51 minutes into the match, Bulek Idris notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bulek Idris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Penang Island's Bulek Idris. But to his dismay, Bulek Idris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Salk having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Bulek Idris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penang Island fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Salk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bulek Idris in the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Salk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulek Idris in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute of the match Penang Island got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joko Febrian ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jonas Salk in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Penang Island's Haikal Sitepu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Djati Simamora made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0.
