USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovanildo Luis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Ronaldinho Gaucho replaced Adhemar Santos. The Joinville City - FSCMZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
