In the 13th minute, Aquiles Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Conrado Javiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Conrado Javiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Erlantz in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Erlantz in the 26th minute of the match. When FC Pogipool Olsztyn's Aquiles Erlantz in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 36 minutes, Conrado Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Javiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Erlantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerónimo Souto's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerónimo Souto helped the player get up and apologised. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's Teofil Trela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 40th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Erlantz's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Aquiles Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Conrado Javiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Aquiles Erlantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pogipool Olsztyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Xavier Zoido hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Jerónimo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
