Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Porfiro having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Turi in the 11th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Porfiro having to interfere. After 33 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Loco Borja. 36 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Valentin Makovskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Turi to make the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Loco Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Porfiro having to interfere. With a little luck, LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Porfiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Higinio Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Borja to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in LA MAQUINA F.C's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Porfiro came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Turi in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Romero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Rigoberto Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
