When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celedonio Dominguez made a kick off. Holger Vester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holger Vester quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Holger Vester. The goal made the score 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 60th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
