Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Carp Team's Matei Cârstea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Bordeianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Bordeianu having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 15th minute. Radomir Šiljak made a great header on Carp Team's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When Neil Tutorskiy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Calistrat Bordeianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Tutorskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 25th minute of play forced Carp Team's goalkeeper Calistrat Bordeianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu did a great save. Calistrat Bordeianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Šiljak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Cârstea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 41st minute Neil Tutorskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Toader Valerian in the 44th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Cârstea in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goalkeeper Calistrat Bordeianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Šiljak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes Carp Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 64 played minutes Carp Team got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eguzki. 66 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goalkeeper Calistrat Bordeianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Calistrat Bordeianu to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Calistrat Bordeianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Carp Team getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nicu Postelnicescu hit a great ball. Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carp Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Carp Team's Matei Cârstea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Cârstea in the 78th minute of play. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Bordeianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Calistrat Bordeianu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Calistrat Bordeianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Tutorskiy in the 93rd minute of play. Carp Team succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
