In the 5th match minute, Lipovljani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 汪扬星 to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, 郭飞鹰 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. 郭飞鹰 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 郭飞鹰 kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 狄常坤 came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 狄常坤 saved Lipovljani from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 35th minute of play forced Lipovljani's goalkeeper 狄常坤 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 狄常坤 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 何榕志's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 何榕志 helped the player get up and apologised. 郭飞鹰 took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 郭飞鹰 made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lipovljani's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 狄常坤 came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 楚广广 in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, 曲彬潮 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曲彬潮 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
