Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mihai Oniga hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Tilea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergiu Coșeriu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gigel Tilea. Gigel Tilea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Sergiu Coșeriu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Coșeriu couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Oniga. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigel Tilea. The goal made the score 0-6. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Academia Rio from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Rio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 85th minute of play. Academia Rio's Virgil Şimonca got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Mihai Oniga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Dichiseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergiu Coșeriu in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gigel Tilea in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigel Tilea. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The Academia Rio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
