Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Siro Salamon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Siro Salamon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Astrada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Mirande in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Eterno's Elvio Gorka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Siro Salamon succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Salamon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Siro Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Simon Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Enol came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Elvio Gorka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diego Eterno fully deserved thier win.
