Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Jürgen Nudelman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Walter Siggman scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 25th minute of play forced Samyang Ramen's goalkeeper Alex Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Siggman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Alex Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th play minute Göran Nordgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Alex Wållander in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Nordgren in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Nordgren came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Sam Yang sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo-Erik Apelkvist in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Samyang Ramen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
