Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Otoniel Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Loid Vrints got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Loid Vrints dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kaysersheim defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otoniel Mondragon. The Kaysersheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otoniel Mondragon should have stopped the shot. Otoniel Mondragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otoniel Mondragon. Kaysersheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 32 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Sam-Lucas Mertens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-4. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loid Vrints in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otoniel Mondragon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Ecuador were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loid Vrints made a kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 55 minutes Kaysersheim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
