In the 11th minute, Xan 谢霆锋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yılmaz Tigin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 梅珂庭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 王骏坚 who took care of the corner kick. Yılmaz Tigin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 梅珂庭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 梅珂庭. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colombia's Pascual Carballar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 梅珂庭 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. But to his dismay, Xan 谢霆锋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xan 谢霆锋 was the one to do the kick off.
