Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octavio Carballo kicked off to start the match. Cristobal Osoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Octavio Carballo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Maden FC's Daniel Hontoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play. Cristobal Osoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Hontoria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 23rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hontoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Stoica kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to Maden FC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Tomas Illescas tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Daniel Hontoria seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cristobal Osoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cristobal Osoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Hontoria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Doğuhan Koca tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Cristobal Osoro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Octavio Carballo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luizão Ramos, made in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doğuhan Koca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Hontoria made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Carballo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Hontoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Cristobal Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cristobal Osoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cristobal Osoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Hontoria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Carballo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Daniel Hontoria made a huge save. In the 86th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maden FC had played much better football throughout.
